Korean Cuisine at "Dea Lang Gum" in T.Aru Plaza

Last night, a friend of mine invited me to have a dinner in a korean restaurant called "Dea Lang Gum". There are 5 of us, Chris(nessa's husband), Vanessa, Candy(korean), Esther and myself. So, Esther and I supposed to arrive there by 7.30pm, but we were late for more than 20mins. We actually felt bad for being late for the dinner. Chris introduced one of her friend from Korea, Candy , the name. Very friendly and polite. She can speaks 3 different languages, Malay, English and a little bit of Chinese. How bizarre. So It's not that hard for Esther and I to communicate with Candy afterall. Hey, i left this, we did body language too. Duhh....

Dinner started to serve not long after we arrive:

Dry and wet kimchi, spicy kimchi, kimchi, kimchi etc.

As you can see, the main course is full of kimchi. I don't get it. But hey, they have this BBQ porks which smell good and tasty. So before we start eating, Vanessa showed us a so called "tutorial" how to eat the BBQ porks based on tradition way. So basically we take a small amount of lettuce, put the BBQ pork on it, and then top it with smoked garlic and onion, and finally some spicy paste and a bit of rice on the top. Man, i have to tell, it tastes so delicious.

So this is it. *drooling over it*

Can't help it. I'm too hungry

Esther grabbing the food and ready to eat.

Nessa, don't complain you're fat. 'Coz you are not.

Esther and I

The dinner was awesome. Everyone kept busy eating. Kimchi's do not taste that bad afterall. But personally i think it's a bit too spicy for me. So after the dinner, we took some pictures... Again.. :-s

We all know u hate to take photo, Mr.Chris. Anyhow, thanks for the dinner.

That's all for Wed's night. Maybe more updates later. Ciao.

Tuesday...

Today weather is fine and sunny. And Ohhh. Had a good night sleep. Dream? Yes. A good one....

Today Breakfast:
  • Steamed Bun(Choc' flavour)
  • Organic Shake which doesn't taste good.
  • Crackers with strawberry jam on it. *Yum Yum*

In afternoon, I called Andy up asked him out for some drinks in Warisan Square. So we agreed to meet up at 2pm. As i was heading to town, Vanessa called me and asked if i can send her to the police station for reporting her lost ID. She has no car, so i decided to pick her up since she's somewhere in the town too. So i left Andy alone with another girl Chloe in Warisan Square. Ok, back to the Balai Polis, the report procedure did not take long. Probably less than 20mins? I was wondering and walking around the park, no hot policemen with tight uniform, no firefighters, no uniforms guys what so ever. Duhhhh~ How boring. So after Vanessa get things done, we left to Wisma for lunch with Michelle Ho.

Lunch:
  • Sweet and Sour Fish
  • Deer meats marinated with X.O Sauce served on a pan? I don't know :-S
  • Lotus Seed soup.
  • Choy Sam(Vege)
Lunch was great. Notice how *clean* are these plates?

So after lunch, we lepak around. Saw my cousin, Judy, Sindy and an unknown person. Bla Bla Bla, hi and bye talk(u know) and then we walked into another shop. Bought some dry fruits such as dry mango & pineapple, dry ikan bilis... etc. Again, eat eat eat like there's no tomorrow.... Spent 1 and half hours in Wisma and we left at 5pm.

Some pictures took in the car when i send Vanessa back:

Vannesa looking gorgeous.

Try to be cautious on the road

oK, that's all for today. I'm ma go to the gym now. Ciao peeps.

Tah Dah. Another ordinary Monday....

*Phone Ring* Open my eyes and look at my phone. Rachel, one of my close friend called me this morning. I can hardly talk louder bcoz i am suffering bad sore throat. Definitely need to buy med in drugs store which i haven't do it until now . Guess I'm ma just let it heal by itself. :-S. So Rachel and me chit-chating and bla bla bla for 30mins and then i went to had my breakfast.

Later in afternoon, Esther called me up and came to my house. After a while, Evonne came and picked us up. So we parked the car and went to Public Bank because Esther wants to withdraw some cash for her Dior sunglasses. After that, a friend of Evonne picked us up(she doesn't want to drive) . Alan the name, a filthy rich guy with a niceeee sport car.. Yummy* So he took us to the Wisma for lunch. (I'm ma skip all the rubbish and make it short.)

So afterwards, we went to Warisan Square for a little bit of window shopping and some drinks in San Fransisco Coffee Shop. And again, Alan paid for everything.... Aw... How gentleman...

Hot Steamed Milk. Doesn't taste good.

Emptiness...

Feeling a bit down on Friday's night. So i decided to go to the BB Cafe with Eric and Andy. Nothing much happened there. We talked about random topics and took some pictures. Could be better if Ian and Michele were there. I miss their accompanies.... And i have to say the place remind me of sweet moment with someone special.

Am thinking someone. I really do.

Thanks for the blindfold, Ian.
